Start on DomBound.
Everything you need to take your first steps and understand every tool. With consent first, always.
First steps
- 01
Create your profile and pick your role
Dom, sub or switch. Confirm you are 18+. Your identity stays private: you show only what you choose, no real data exposed.
- 02
Explore and connect
Find Doms, subs and Owners in the Grid. Invite others to bond and build your circle. Reputation and reviews tell you who to trust.
- 03
Agree your first dynamic
Tasks, challenges, chastity or punishments. Always within the limits you accept — and revocable whenever you want, no explanations.
- 04
Follow through and earn honour
Deliver your tasks with evidence, validate others’ and climb the challenges. Reputation is earned, seen and never faked.
- 05
Talk in private
End-to-end encrypted chat: not even we can read what you say. What happens between you stays between you.
The modules, in detail
Every feature exists to shape a real dynamic — and to protect it. Here is how each one works.
The Grid — discover
The profile grid: find Doms, subs and Owners by affinity and proximity.
- Sorted by relevance: reputation, activity and proximity all count. DomBound+ profiles stand out with a “+” and an oxblood aura.
- Free sees up to 60 profiles; DomBound+ up to 300 and with advanced filters (role, practices, proximity).
- Who viewed you: with DomBound+ you know who visited your profile.
- Every alias is clickable: open a profile to see their track record, public challenges and invite them to bond.
Bonds & Circle
The connections you accept form your Circle. Each bond has a level and a status.
- You invite to bond from a profile; the other person accepts or declines. No permission, no dynamic.
- Bond levels, up to Owner/Slave, with growing permissions you grant and can withdraw.
- Progression is earned through real interaction; prolonged inactivity can downgrade the bond.
- Free: up to 20 connections. DomBound+: unlimited.
Tasks — private orders
Concrete assignments from a Dom to a sub (or self-imposed), with delivery and validation.
- Cycle: assigned → delivered → validated (or redo). The badge shows only what is pending for your role.
- Deliver by text, photo or audio/video, with evidence. You can require a minimum word count.
- Recurring and with a deadline: an overdue task stays pending, is flagged and may trigger a punishment.
- Completing adds reputation. Some ask for a location check-in. Free: 5 photos/videos a month and up to 5 repetitions.
Challenges — public dares
Unlike tasks (private), a challenge is social: individual or group, with a ranking.
- Self-challenge (you set it) or imposed by a Dom acting as one.
- Participants validate each other with “likes”; media is ephemeral and only for those signed up.
- Group challenges rank by position; failing costs reputation.
- They are the basis of the Wall and the engine of Locktober.
Chastity — control, live
A real-time counter of time under lock, self-imposed or led by your Dom.
- State cycle: locked, temporary release and end. With honour check-ins.
- Self-imposed is free; imposing it on someone (key + check-ins) is DomBound+.
- It ties into challenges and Locktober, where accumulated time scores.
- No one sees your intimacy: the app keeps count, the Dom wields the agreed control.
Punishments — agreed consequences
Responses to a failure, within what was agreed and with a path to recovery.
- Triggered manually or automatically (e.g. an overdue task), with templates and recurrence.
- Proof with a timestamp and a state cycle until completed.
- Clemency points: they grant the right to ask for pardon, not to get it.
- Imposing punishments is DomBound+. Just Culture: proportionate and with learning, never revenge.
The Wall — your circle’s thread
Your panel’s feed: what those you follow do — challenges, check-ins and milestones.
- Not a porn feed: it is the real D/s activity of your network.
- You validate only within your circle; it is also the base of writing (articles and stories).
- Your /home is a meaningful panel, not an endless scroll of strangers.
Reputation & honour
The core of trust: earned by following through, lost by failing.
- A 1-to-5 scale and role-based reviews (add-only, with measurable categories and lock/collar icons).
- It weighs on the Wall, on challenges and on how you appear in the Grid.
- It gates bond progression: without reputation you do not level up.
End-to-end encrypted chat
End-to-end encrypted messaging from day one.
- A chat request before writing; a key hierarchy not even the platform holds a copy of.
- A private photo gallery you can share by chat.
- If there is a report, a moderation chat with official identity — only then.
Consented geolocation
Tasks with a location check-in, at the level of detail you choose.
- Three levels: just the category (“a supermarket”), a map with no names, or your exact location.
- In range = full reputation; out of range = half and a notice to the Dom.
- Exact coordinates are not stored unless you choose that level. Foreground only, never in the background.
Locktober — the event
Every October: you sign up and compete on time, check-ins and chastity challenges.
- A ranking of subs and of Doms; days under lock, check-ins and validations all score.
- Permanent medals for milestones reached.
- During the event, the essentials run with no plan limits.
Frequently asked
Is it free?
Yes. Creating your profile, connecting, encrypted chat and receiving any dynamic is free forever. DomBound+ (€3.99/mo) adds more visibility and, if you lead dynamics, the control tools.
Can I change my role later?
Your role (Dom, sub or switch) is an important choice: take your time when you start. It shapes how you live the dynamic inside the app.
What is the difference between a task and a challenge?
A task is private between a Dom and a sub, with delivery and validation. A challenge is public and gamified: individual or group, with a ranking and peer validation.
Who can impose chastity or punishments?
Anyone can self-impose chastity for free. Imposing it on someone, or applying punishments, requires DomBound+ — because the one who wields power pays, not the one who receives it.
Does the app see where I am?
Only when you do a check-in for a geolocated task, and in the foreground. You choose how much is revealed; exact coordinates are not stored unless you pick the exact level.
What is Locktober?
The chastity event in October: you sign up, earn points for time, check-ins and challenges, and compete in the subs’ and Doms’ rankings, with medals for milestones.
Can I block or report?
Always. There is an emergency button accessible at all times, above any dynamic, plus voluntary blocking and abuse reporting.
How do I delete my account?
From your settings, whenever you want. When you leave we fully delete your conversations and notify anyone who had a dynamic with you.
