Start a chastity period
Enable the module, start a self-imposed period, decide whether it has an end date and whether you accept pauses. All from your panel.
Reviewed on
The chastity module tracks time under lock, handles checks and — if you allow it — lets your Dom control the period. It all starts by enabling it.
1. Enable the module
On your panel, in the chastity card, press «Enable chastity module».
That does two things: it shows you as interested in chastity (and highlights you in Explore), and it lets you start periods and lets your Dom control them if you authorise it.
2. Start the period
Press «Start chastity» and decide:
- End date (optional) — leave it empty and the period is permanent: it lasts until it is explicitly ended. Set it and you will see a countdown of what is left.
- «I accept pauses» — tick it and you can request pauses during the period (and your Dom can grant them). Leave it off and there are no pauses: only the end, or the emergency exit.
From then on the counter runs in real time: «Elapsed» if it is permanent, «Remaining» if it has an end date.
3. Decide what is visible
«Show my chastity on my profile» displays the counter on your public profile — only the time, never who controls it nor the end date. It is off by default.
What accumulates
The counter for the period you are in is free and runs from the first minute.
The full history —total time accumulated, number of periods and your record— is DomBound+. And for others to see it on your profile you need both: Show my chastity on my profile switched on, and DomBound+.
Your time keeps being counted even while you cannot see it: the day you turn on DomBound+, the full history appears — it does not start from zero.
Ending it
There are three ways out, and they are not equivalent:
- End — the normal finish, when the date arrives or whoever holds the key opens it.
- Voluntary release — you interrupt early. It costs reputation points.
- Emergency release — immediate, no justification, no penalty.
Explained in detail in pauses and emergency release.
Frequently asked questions
Does self-imposed chastity cost anything?
No. Starting and running your own chastity is free. What belongs to DomBound+ is imposing it on someone else (holding their key and their checks).
Can I start with no end date?
Yes: leave the end date empty and the period is permanent — it ends when you (or whoever holds the key) end it.
Does anyone find out I have started?
The wall shows that you have begun a chastity period, with no further detail. If you do not want the counter on your profile, leave «Show my chastity on my profile» switched off.
Does the counter pause if I close the app?
No. Time runs in real time from the moment you start, whether or not you are in the app.
Why can't I see my record or my history?
History and record are DomBound+. On the free plan you see the period you are in. Your time is still being stored: turn on DomBound+ and it appears in full, it does not start from zero.
