Public profile: showing your profile without an account
Off by default. Switch it on and your profile opens with a link, no sign-up needed — and this is exactly what is shown and what is not.
Reviewed on
By default only registered people can see your profile. The public profile changes that: it opens to anyone with your link, with no account.
It serves one concrete purpose: showing who you are without forcing anyone to sign up first. Paste your link in a group and let people look.
How to switch it on
Under Edit profile, the «Public profile» toggle. It ships off.
Your address is dombound.app/your-alias, the same one you already use inside.
Exactly what is shown
- Your photo and your alias.
- Your role.
- Your description.
- Your age and your attributes (height, weight, build, position, orientation, circumstances, experience).
- Your communities.
- Your practices and your hard limits.
- Your reputation and your chastity counter, only if you have those enabled.
What is never shown
- Your chat and your conversations.
- Your connections: circle, bonds, who your Dom is.
- Your real name, your email and your date of birth.
- Your coordinates.
- Anything marked private, including your gallery.
Put differently: the public profile shows nothing more than you already show inside. It only removes the requirement of having an account to see it.
What a visitor finds
Before the profile, an age gate: Content for over-18s. Only past that does the profile appear. It is the same condition that governs the rest of the platform.
If it is off —or the alias does not exist— what shows is Private profile and an invitation to join.
When it is worth it and when it is not
Worth it if you share your profile elsewhere, if you want to be found from a group, or if you would rather show than explain.
Not worth it if you are uneasy about your photo and practices being reachable from outside. It is your call, reversible in one tap, and that is why it ships off.
Frequently asked questions
Is it on without me doing anything?
No. It ships off. Until you enable it, anyone opening your link sees «Private profile» and an invitation to join.
Can people see my chat or my connections?
Never. The public profile only shows what is already public inside the platform: photo, role, attributes, communities and practices. No chat, no connections, no private data.
Does my date of birth appear?
No. Your age is shown, never the date. The date is private data.
Can I switch it off later?
Yes, whenever you like. From then on the link shows «Private profile» again.
