«Not interested», blocking and reporting: the ladder of limits
Three different steps for three different situations. Which to use when, what each one costs, and what happens after a report.

Not everything uncomfortable is abuse, and not all abuse is fixed by looking away. That is why there are three steps, and using the right one matters.
1. «Not interested» — closing a conversation
Inside a chat. The other person sees it, nothing else happens, and you can withdraw it. It is the clear, civil way of saying no.
Detail in chat requests and «not interested».
2. Blocking — no longer seeing each other
From the profile, «Block»:
You will stop seeing each other. You can undo it whenever you want.
- It is reversible with «Unblock».
- The other person receives no notice.
- It does not call moderation.
- It carries a reputation cost for the person blocked.
This is the step for «this is going nowhere and I want no more contact». Nothing serious needs to have happened.
3. Emergency block — when there is abuse or danger
From the same place, «⚠️ Emergency block»:
Use it only for real abuse or danger: it is logged and moderation is alerted.
- It blocks the same way, but opens a case file.
- The reputation cost for the other person is much higher.
- If several different people apply emergency blocks to the same account within a short window, an automatic precautionary suspension is triggered and the case goes to human review.
That last mechanism exists because a lone victim is easy to dismiss; a pattern is not.
Reporting abuse
The report is what tells what happened. From the profile or from the conversation, «Report abuse», with a reason:
- Pressure on my limits
- Insisting on contact outside the platform
- Threats or intimidation
- Non-consensual content
- Abuse of their position (Dom/Owner)
- Impersonation
- Suspected minor
- Other
You can add a description. And optionally give moderation access to your conversation, choosing the range: all of it, last 30 days or last 7.
Only the moderation team can read the messages from the period you choose, to review the case. The rest stays encrypted.
To attach it you need to have unlocked encryption on that device.
What happens next
The moderation team reviews the report and you get an answer: you receive the report resolved notice. Measures range from a warning to temporary suspension or permanent expulsion, proportionate to the case.
Reporting is not snitching. It is how the system gets corrected — and on a platform where people genuinely hand over control, staying quiet costs far more than speaking.
Frequently asked questions
Does the person know I blocked them?
No. You simply stop seeing each other. There is no notice and no message.
Is the report anonymous?
It is anonymous to the person reported: they do not know who filed it. The moderation team does need to know, to work the case and to reply to you.
Do I have to give access to my conversation to report?
No, it is optional. If you do, you pick the range: the whole conversation, last 30 days or last 7. Only moderation can read that range; the rest stays encrypted.
What if I use the emergency block by mistake?
Use it when you believe there is real abuse or danger; for anything else there is the normal block, which is reversible and does not call moderation. The emergency one is logged and has serious consequences for the other person.
