Deleting your account and getting it back
You have 30 days to change your mind: logging back in cancels the deletion. After that it is erased for good — and this is exactly what disappears.

Deleting your account
Under My account → Account deletion, the «Delete my account» button. Before you confirm, the app tells you what happens:
Your account will be hidden and you will not be able to act. You have 30 days to recover it; after that it is erased with no way back: profile, photos, conversations and your tasks and challenges. The history and reputation others earned with you are kept, but without your name.
To confirm you have to type your alias. That friction is on purpose: it is not a button you press by accident.
The 30 days
While the window lasts:
- Your account is hidden and you cannot act.
- You will see it will be permanently erased on [date].
- Simply logging back in before that date cancels the deletion. There is also «Reactivate account».
What is erased and what is not
Erased: your profile, your photos, your conversations, your tasks and your challenges.
Kept, anonymised: the history and reputation that other people earned with you. Where your alias was, it will say deleted user.
That distinction is deliberate. Your trail is yours and you take it with you; what someone else built by delivering with you is theirs, and it would not be fair for your departure to erase their history.
Your rights
Deletion is the direct way to exercise erasure, but you also have full rights of access, rectification, portability and objection. They are set out in the privacy policy, and you exercise them by writing to support.

How do I recover my account?
Just log back in before the deletion date: the request cancels itself. There is also a «Reactivate account» button.
Is everything erased?
What is yours is erased: profile, photos, conversations, your tasks and your challenges. What others earned with you (their history and their reputation) is kept, but without your name.
Why isn't other people's history erased?
Because it is not only yours. The reputation someone else earned by delivering with you is theirs, and erasing it would punish them for a decision they did not make.
Can I delete only some things?
You can delete individual photos and posts whenever you want, without deleting your account.
